A warm wish for everyone
Wishing everyone Eid Mubarak. It is a wonderful day isnt it? The festival where people gather for prayers, friends and family vists each other, wear new clothes, celebrate the day. I am also cherishing this holiday. I just finished reading my newspaper while sipping the second cup of warm beverage. The first being black coffee and the second being milk tea. Yesterday I talked to an old friend and it felt nice despite our relation being complicated which I am not going to get into details.
A holiday after a long time
I spent the morning in a very relaxed manner, first I read the Mint newspaper on my laptop. I tried to arrange for the print version but alas, it is not available. And one guy said that it will cost me ₹5 extra on per piece. So, I stuck to the digital version. One more thing, I find that it is more colourful in the digital version. I had my coffee, ahh, sweet cup of joe! I was then thinking what movie can I watch? What to do? Then, I remembered my friend's recommendation of watching the fast & furious. And so without further ado, I started arranging for that movie.
So, everything was ready now & I started watching the movie. First I was watching it on the laptop, then I notched things up & switched to my TV. I sat comfortably on the bed watching Fast & Furious Part 9. It was a lot of fun doing that. After a long time I got the whole day to myself. Due to closing, I could not do anything in the past two holidays. Both were working. And then Statutory Audit came in which took another holiday. It was not easy doing office for continuous period of time. Morale takes a hit and it is difficult to keep the motivation. But that was a low point then. Later I got another holiday on this special day, Eid.
A splendid time among the trees & environment
I had planned to take Mom to a bike ride. The whole plan was divided into three segments. The first being a short long ride tailored to my availability of time & energy. Then, a small pit stop to Sobuj Patro & then coffee at The Creek. The dominant destination was a resort named The Creek. So, we started around 5.50pm. The roads were a bit busy. I was driving my Pulsar. We drove for around 30mins and reached the Kasba Uco Bank branch. It was dark & there was no point getting any further as we also had to return. From there we took an U-turn and returned to a resort named Sobuj Patro.
Sobuj Patro was very nice! The light settings were warm & there were beautiful plants all over the place. We sat down for a fish fry, but alas they had none. So, we got up & started for our next destination. Disheartened we decided that we will stick to the original plan of going to The Creek.
It was around 7pm when we reached The Creek. It was a beautiful resort. The warm dim lights located all over the place gave the whole place a very warm and soothing feel. Me and my mom roamed the whole place and sat in the chair placed in the field. The weather was pleasant even with no winds blowing there was no heat and it was very comfortable.I sat there absorbing the surroundings. It was really one of the most beautiful evening I have ever spent. After few minutes of sitting, we got up and went to the restaurant. We ordered two coffee and a plate of Fish Finger. The food was also okayish. I felt that the fish fry's fish quality could have been better, because I have had better quality food from Howrah's Rana's Fast Food Centre which is located near the quarter at BSNL telephone exchange. Anyways, after having the coffee and food, the whole experience was just awesome! One of the best! I loved the way I spent the day. We returned home and on our way back, we bought four chapatis for dinner and the day ended amicably.
