E2: Eid Mubarak

A warm wish for everyone

Wishing everyone Eid Mubarak. It is a wonderful day isnt it? The festival where people gather for prayers, friends and family vists each other, wear new clothes, celebrate the day. I am also cherishing this holiday. I just finished reading my newspaper while sipping the second cup of warm beverage. The first being black coffee and the second being milk tea. Yesterday I talked to an old friend and it felt nice despite our relation being complicated which I am not going to get into details.

A holiday after a long time

I spent the morning in a very relaxed manner, first I read the Mint newspaper on my laptop. I tried to arrange for the print version but alas, it is not available. And one guy said that it will cost me ₹5 extra on per piece. So, I stuck to the digital version. One more thing, I find that it is more colourful in the digital version. I had my coffee, ahh, sweet cup of joe! I was then thinking what movie can I watch? What to do? Then, I remembered my friend's recommendation of watching the fast & furious. And so without further ado, I started arranging for that movie.

So, everything was ready now & I started watching the movie. First I was watching it on the laptop, then I notched things up & switched to my TV. I sat comfortably on the bed watching Fast & Furious Part 9. It was a lot of fun doing that. After a long time I got the whole day to myself. Due to closing, I could not do anything in the past two holidays. Both were working. And then Statutory Audit came in which took another  holiday. It was not easy doing office for continuous period of time. Morale takes a hit and it is difficult to keep the motivation. But that was a low point then. Later I got another holiday on this special day, Eid.

A splendid time among the trees & environment

I had planned to take Mom to a bike ride. The whole plan was divided into three segments. The first being a short long ride tailored to my availability of time & energy. Then, a small pit stop to Sobuj Patro & then coffee at The Creek. The dominant destination was a resort named The Creek. So, we started around 5.50pm. The roads were a bit busy. I was driving my Pulsar. We drove for around 30mins and reached the Kasba Uco Bank branch. It was dark & there was no point getting any further as we also had to return. From there we took an U-turn and returned to a resort named Sobuj Patro.

Sobuj Patro was very nice! The light settings were warm & there were beautiful plants all over the place. We sat down for a fish fry, but alas they had none. So, we got up & started for our next destination. Disheartened we decided that we will stick to the original plan of going to The Creek.

It was around 7pm when we reached The Creek. It was a beautiful resort. The warm dim lights located all over the place gave the whole place a very warm and soothing feel. Me and my mom roamed the whole place and sat in the chair placed in the field. The weather was pleasant even with no winds blowing there was no heat and it was very comfortable.

I sat there absorbing the surroundings. It was really one of the most beautiful evening I have ever spent. After few minutes of sitting, we got up and went to the restaurant. We ordered two coffee and a plate of Fish Finger. The food was also okayish. I felt that the fish fry's fish quality could have been better, because I have had better quality food from Howrah's Rana's Fast Food Centre which is located near the quarter at BSNL telephone exchange. Anyways, after having the coffee and food, the whole experience was just awesome! One of the best! I loved the way I spent the day. We returned home and on our way back, we bought four chapatis for dinner and the day ended amicably.

E1: A New Beginning

12:05am
Figuring out what you love to do is a mammoth task, and I figured out that I love to write, but I must say that my writing is a rusty. Even a whiskey takes years to reach it's true potential. Anyhow, welcome to my life!

8.52pm
I am finally home and it feels like a really long day. It breaks my heart when I am unable to do the tings that I want to do but unfortunately cant due to the time crunch. But then I also tell myself that so many people are still working right now and unable to come back from work or are still in transit. I am lucky that I am sitting in my home comfortably on my bed doing things that I love. It was a busy da at office where we had to handle several things. Customer handling was heavy during the earlier part of the day. We had one or two fun moments at the office. There were also some peculiar customers with some peculiar doubts which made us laugh later on as the customer left. I also made a customer very happy who had been trying to change his address for 35 years in his account but could not. I made him believe in our bank again. He also admitted that due to lack of proper service that customer had stopped using that account. And now he is again willing to do transactions via that account.

I was facing issue with my two-wheeler parking, today one of my staff stepped up and offered me help. it felt very nice that someone had my back. I try to have everyone's back, which is why everyone likes me. Today, I also stayed with my manager until the end. I guess the timing sucks but when you look at the overall day, there are many ups too. But the brain only focuses on the cons which is kind of bad and should not happen. We should train our brain so that we actively choose to look at the positive part of life and disregard the negative part. Banking is by default a very emotionally negative place to spend your rest of your life. So, unless you are extra positive it will whip our all the positive from your body and make your life very hard.

When I entered my apartment I saw that my neighbor is away, I remembered that he is supposed to be on leave the day after tomorrow and take the long weekend of 4days continuous off. Good for him, I wanted to take this weekend off too, but I have very less number of leaves left, so I dont want to waste it for no reasons. I would have taken it if my new car was supposed to be delivered today, but there is a whole other story tucked in that area.

Anyways, I am now famished and would love to eat. Ciao! See you later alligator.

What yoga techniques can treat stress & stomach problems?

Several yoga practices can help alleviate stress and stomach problems:

1. **Pranayama**: Breathing techniques such as deep breathing, alternate nostril breathing (Nadi Shodhana), and Kapalbhati can help reduce stress and improve digestion by calming the nervous system and increasing oxygen flow to the body.

2. **Asanas (Yoga Poses)**: Poses like Child's Pose (Balasana), Forward Fold (Uttanasana), Cat-Cow Stretch (Marjaryasana-Bitilasana), and Seated Twist (Bharadvajasana) can help relieve stress, improve digestion, and massage the abdominal organs.

3. **Meditation**: Regular meditation practice can reduce stress and promote relaxation, which can indirectly improve digestion and alleviate stomach issues.

4. **Yoga Nidra**: Also known as yogic sleep, Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation practice that induces deep relaxation and can help alleviate stress-related stomach problems.

5. **Agnisar Kriya**: This cleansing technique involves rapid abdominal contractions and can stimulate digestion, improve metabolism, and relieve stress.

6. **Yoga Therapy**: Working with a qualified yoga therapist can provide personalized yoga practices tailored to address specific stress and stomach-related issues.

It's essential to consult with a healthcare professional before starting any new exercise or yoga routine, especially if you have underlying health conditions or concerns.
